Preliminary reports states that a total of three persons died due to the 7.4 magnitude earthquake today afternoon. One person died in Teku, while 32 sustained injuries in Bhaktapur, said Nepal Police officer Hemant Pal. Likewise, he said 72 sustained injuries in Lalitpur while 73 were injured in Kathmandu.
According to him, a 4-storeyed building collpased in Bhaktapur due to the quake, and details on it was yet to come. He further said that 4 police personnels - 2 each in Ramachhep and Sindhupalchwok - were injured in the earthquake. Additionally, 12 persons were injured in Sindhupalchowk while about 90 percent buildings in Dolakha are estimated to have damaged.
